For the past twenty years, Christ Bible Institute (CBI) has taken the gospel deeper into the hearts of Japanese people and further to the uttermost parts of Japan. Central to this effort has been the CBI building, located only five minutes from Nagoya Station and less than three hours from over 50% of the Japanese population.
Since purchasing this building, our ministry efforts have changed and multiplied. The challenge we are now facing is insufficient space – we need to be able to have seminary classes, meetings, Bible studies, and fellowship among seminary students and local Christians occur simultaneously. Additionally our building was originally an office for an industrial company, so areas such as our chapel, reception area, seminary classroom, etc., were not designed for the purposes for which we need them.
For CBI to take the gospel deeper and further still in Japan, we believe it is vital for us to optimize our current building for the ministry to which God has called us.
