Brady Goodwin holds a Master of Theology (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brady is also a certified member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Currently, Brady serves as Pastor of Training at Northway Church in Dallas, Texas, and as an Adjunct Supervisor for Professional Doctoral students at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has assisted with training in biblical counseling and STEPS at Christ Bible Institute since 2016. Brady lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Aimee, and their three children.

Kim Kira (M.Div., The Master’s Seminary; M.A. Biblical Counseling, The Master’s College) is the primary teaching elder and helps to oversee counseling ministries at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, California. He loves being part of a church family that is committed to loving God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Kim is driven by a deep desire to encourage people to worship Christ more deeply by showing that the gospel is not only for eternal life, but everyday life. Beyond ministry, he loves to spend time with his wife Jen and their four children.

Dr. Ric Rodeheaver is a native of the Hawaiian Islands. Along with his pastoral responsibilities at Christ Community Church in Laguna Hills, California, Ric is also an adjunct professor of practical theology at Christ Bible Seminary in Nagoya, Japan, a steering member of the Gospel Coalition, Orange County chapter and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He enjoys his family most of all, shooting sports, good books, and his Triumph Speed Twin motorcycle

Tim St. John (MDiv, ThM, Levels 1-3 CCEF certificates) serves as the counseling pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, CA. He’s a member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition Leadership Council and is the mental health issues editor at the Sola Network. Tim’s passion is to see the grace of gospel-centered counseling grow and thrive in local churches.

Raised in Mie prefecture, Asako became a Christian at Bethel Korean Church in California. In 2014 she graduated from CBS with an M.Div. After earning a counseling license in Japan, Asako now works for Japanese government agencies as a part-time counselor to the general public. At CBI she is the CBI Counseling Project Assistant Leader managing the STEPS discipleship program. Her husband Yu serves as the pastor for All Nations Fellowship church. They have two children.
