Great start to 2024!

Thank you for your prayer and support for the ministry of Christ Bible Institute (CBI). CBI has had a full start to 2024 as we kicked off seminary classes for the Winter term on January 4, released our first ever children’s book Halle Takes a Stand , and planned our first ever fellowship event with pastors and elders from the local PCJ Presbytery.

CBI wants to share a special thank you to everyone that contributed to the 2023 Year-End Giving Campaign for the Uchi-Soto Evangelism Project. Thanks to you, we have reached 50% of our $87,000 goal . This resource will equip Christians in Japan to share the gospel of Jesus by addressing themes that resonate with Japanese culture.

So far, we have completed drafts of the written content for the Uchi-Soto booklet, bible study, and manga training guide. Also, God has provided an excellent professional illustrator and designer for the booklet and manga, which we hope will be ready to go to print by this fall! Please continue to pray for the progress of this project and that we would reach 100% support in order to make this idea a reality.

Ways to Pray

Pray for the 9 CBS students who are in their final term of study before graduation in March.
Pray for CBI Press and the release of Halle Takes a Stand, along with several other exciting projects in the pipeline.
Pray for pastors and leaders of local churches in the Nagoya area to be filled by the Holy Spirit and enlivened by the gospel.
