Status Report on CBI Press Book Projects (Pt.1 of 2)

CBI Press entered a new phase of ministry at the end of last year with a new non-profit entity and our first book for sale, New Morning Mercies by Paul Tripp in Japanese. Over the past 6 months, we have distributed over 5,000 CBI Press books, including over 700 copies of New Morning Mercies. Praise the Lord! Thank you for walking this journey with us to equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry. For this newsletter and the next, we’d like to update you on current CBI Press projects and share how you can help!

New Releases

Japanese readers are being deeply impacted by our recently released books:

New Morning Mercies

“Many people in my church have been incredibly blessed by New Morning Mercies. I hope many more people will read this book. I’m thankful to the ministry of CBI!”

Ms. M from a local Presbyterian church in Nagoya

“Because [New Morning Mercies] is such a wonderful book, I bought it for two of my sisters in Christ for their birthdays. They were so blessed by the content of the devotionals because it spoke the exact encouragement they needed…Glory to God!”

Ms. T from a church in Osaka

Halle Takes a Stand

“I hope that not only children but also adults will love reading this picture book, which is so filled with the gospel.”

Japanese Christian musician

One quick encouraging story…a local pastor who graduated from CBS read the book to a group of elementary students during their story hour. Several 6th grade girls, and even teachers were moved to tears. This story, filled with clear references to scripture and Christian prayers, connected deeply with these non-Christian students. The teachers got so excited about it that they decided they wanted this pastor to come and read Halle Takes a Stand to the rest of the school too!

All of these gospel resources would not be possible without your generous support.

We are looking to raise $118,294 to complete our current projects and help CBI Press continue to grow in this new phase.
