A Banquet to Celebrate CBS Alumni |
Christ Bible Institute (CBI) has always sought to equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry; from the humble beginnings of Christ Bible Seminary (CBS) in a one bedroom apartment, to a full-fledged institution located in the heart of Nagoya, just minutes away from the largest train station in the world. During that time Christ Bible Seminary has sent out 58 graduates to serve God and minister the gospel all across Japan.
CBS alumni–like other pastors in Japan–face many challenges: isolation, overwork, rejection, and discouragement. While some are enjoying success in ministry, all face suffering and trials of many kinds. We long to see them encouraged, supported, and empowered, so that they might thrive in the works that God has called them to. This is only possible by the grace and love of God lavished on believers through the gospel of Christ. On March 6, 2023, CBI will host a special banquet for all alumni of the seminary. Around 75% of CBS graduates are planning on coming! Please pray that God would work through this experience to bless and encourage all attendees. In addition, this event is a great opportunity to hear from them how CBI can better serve their needs, along with presenting the resources that CBI already has at their disposal. |
