Update on Our "Next Steps" Translation Project

Back in December, we shared our vision for improving our translation capability for articles and books by honing methods to use AI in CBI Media's translation work. By God's grace, we have received a grant that will cover the bulk of our expenses for the project. This means we have only $6,687 of our original $52,931 left to raise.

This project includes the translation of a new devotional resource, the development of a new method of translation using AI alongside professional translators, and new tech to create audio versions of our current resources, making them even more accessible to minister to Japanese readers and listeners.

Praying for God's Grace

This spring CBI Press will release our latest book, a Japanese translation of David Powlison's God's Grace in Your Suffering. Please pray with us for the final stages of the publishing process-that there will be good communication between CBI Press and the book's translator and editor, that the design and printing stages will go smoothly, and that we will be able to advertise the book effectively so that it gets to the people who can use it.

Please pray that this book will be a powerful and positive resource for the church throughout Japan and that God will use it to bring his comfort to many who suffer.

Ways to Pray

• Deeper & Further projects: Please pray for the four "Next Steps" projects, that God will bless these efforts and that all the projects will be fully funded.
• Christ Bible Seminary: Please pray for the three students who are graduating this week and for the three incoming students who will begin their studies at CBS this spring!
• Joy of Japan Center: Please pray for the planning for the church revitalization conference that we are preparing to host later this year.
• CBI Counseling: Please pray as we are beginning preparation for the next round of the STEPS counseling and discipleship program.
• CBI Press: Please pray for the release of God's Grace in Your Suffering this spring.
• CBI Media: Please pray for us as we plan a series of translators' seminars, as well as for various new and ongoing translation projects.
