The course provides a method of connecting the truths of Scripture to the lives of people encountered in ministry. It helps students answer the question of how the personal stories of people for whom they are caring intersect with God\u2019s story. The objective is to know how to love people better in practical ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course is part of a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cbijapan.org\/en\/cbicounseling\/course-descriptions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four-course<\/a>&nbsp;Introductory Christian Counseling Training Program offered by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cbijapan.org\/en\/cbicounseling\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CBI Counseling<\/a>&nbsp;in conjunction with Christ Biblical Seminary. While this course builds on <em>Foundations of Christian Counseling<\/em> (CM 331A\/531A), that course is not a prerequisite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Methods of Biblical Change<\/em> is a one-week intensive offered through Christ Bible Seminary. This option is especially suitable for those who wish to enroll in seminary in the future. They are required to complete the homework and take any tests. They may also be subject to additional registration procedures.<strong> Non-program students are also encouraged to register as early as possible, as there may be assignments to be completed in advance of class.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please note that there is a language requirement for full and part time enrollment at CBS.
