This culture is not limited to the counseling room or the pastor\u2019s study but finds expression in hospitality, small group interactions, preaching, discipline, crisis interventions, conflict resolution, and evangelism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course focuses on practical implementations of the principles taught in&nbsp;<em>Foundations of Christian Counseling<\/em>&nbsp;(CM 331A\/531A) and&nbsp;<em>Methods of Biblical Change<\/em>&nbsp;(CM 331B\/531B) within the life of the local church. Neither of those courses, however, is a prerequisite for this course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><em>Counseling in the Local Church: Pathways to Change<\/em><\/em> is a one-week intensive offered through Christ Bible Seminary. This option is especially suitable for those who wish to enroll in seminary in the future. They are required to complete the homework and take any tests. They may also be subject to additional registration procedures.<strong> Non-program students are also encouraged to register as early as possible.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please note that there is a language requirement for full and part time enrollment at CBS.
