I Thank My God

I thank my God every time I remember you (Philippians 1:3). Remembering the students at Christ Bible Seminary in Nagoya, Japan.

At Christ Bible Seminary, each student is a miracle.

Japan is a country with a Christian population of only 0.21%. For Japan to become a nation reached with the Gospel, we’ll need hundreds of churches planted per year. That will require hundreds of pastors and evangelists equipped per year.

Oji-san was a Fukushima evacuee who lost his home...and saw this as an opportunity for a new Nozomu-kun grew up the son of a pastor in Hokkaido...he desires to plant churches in Toyama, a rural area in Japan where there is currently almost no Christian presence. Kazue-san desires to use business as mission…she desires to open a café in Nagoya with Jesus as the CEO.

With 26 full-time students and a good number of part-time students, CBS is one of the largest seminaries in Japan. Christ Bible Seminary has the potential to be used by God as a center for church-planting and evangelism. The number one reason students do not pursue ministry training in Japan is the cost.

Would you please remember Christ Bible Seminary? Would you please thank God for each student here? Would you please ask God to bless, grow, and guide these students?

Would you remember CBS students with your giving? Please consider supporting the students at CBS and the many more who would love to come, but who lack the financial support. Please consider giving to our CBS scholarship fund or becoming a CBS Student Sponsor (annual scholarship gift of $2,000).

You can meet a few of our students by watching their videos on this page. We will update this page every week with a few new videos. As you hear their voices and their stories, please thank God for the miracle of these students.

We thank our God every time we remember you—
