Methods of Biblical Change: Helping People Change defines and helps students put into practice a systematic methodology of Christian counseling. The course provides a method of connecting the truths of Scripture to the lives of people encountered in ministry. It helps students answer the question of how the personal stories of people for whom they are caring intersect with God’s story. The objective is to know how to love people better in practical ways.
This course is part of a four-course Introductory Christian Counseling Training Program offered by CBI Counseling in conjunction with Christ Biblical Seminary. While this course builds on Foundations of Christian Counseling (CM 331A/531A), that course is not a prerequisite.
Methods of Biblical Change is a one-week intensive offered through Christ Bible Seminary. This class will be taught by Ric Rodeheaver, senior pastor of Christ Community Church Laguna Hills, CA.
This is a bilingual course in English and Japanese.

- Schedule：February 21(W), 22(R), 24(S), 26(M), 27(T); 9:20AM-3:40PM (1 hour break for lunch)

Note: Full and part time students of CBS should register for this class according to the usual seminary class registration process.
Non-program students and Auditors should register through the application form that will be linked below once registration opens.
- Auditors can come and participate in the class and will not take tests or do homework, but they are required to attend at least 80% of the course.
- Non-program students will receive seminary credit for the course. This option is especially suitable for those who wish to enroll in seminary in the future. They are required to complete the homework and take any tests. They may also be subject to additional registration procedures. Non-program students are also encouraged to register as early as possible, as there may be assignments to be completed in advance of class.
- Please note that there is a language requirement for full and part time enrollment at CBS. See the CBS admissions requirements for further information.
