Christ Bible Seminary offers several enrollment options. Prospective students may choose from the following four options.
Full-time Students
Full-time students are those who take at least twenty-five credits per academic year. Full-time study carries a number of benefits. Among them are the following.
- Full-time students pay a set tuition fee that is lower than that of part-time students, who pay tuition on a per-credit basis.
- Full-time students are eligible for more scholarship opportunities than part-time students.
- Full-time students are exempt from the graduation fee.
In special cases, students may appeal to continue as a full-time student if they earn less than 25 credits per year. Each situation will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Part-time Students
Part-time students are enrolled in a particular course but do not study full-time. Part-time students pay tuition on a per-credit basis. There is no limit to the number of credits you can earn, but if you earn more than 25 credits per year, we recommend that you register as a full-time student. If you do not earn any credits in a year, your status as a student will be reconsidered. Part-time students must follow the same application process as full-time students. Part-time students who are employed full-time (30+ hours per week) in missionary work are eligible to apply for scholarships.
Non-program Students
Non-program students earn credits without being enrolled in a particular program. There is no limit to the number of credits that can be earned in this manner. This option is especially suitable for students who are planning to study as full-time or part-time students in the future, or who are considering studying at another institution and want to earn credits in order to transfer them. Non-program students complete a simple application process and pay tuition on a per-credit basis. There are no scholarships available for non-program students.
Auditors
Auditors attend lectures as permitted by the instructor, but do not receive grades or credits. Auditors are not required to complete assignments or exams on a credit basis, though some instructors may require quizzes, pre-class study, in-class discussions, or brief assignments. This type of study is for those who do not need to earn seminary credit or who wish to learn without the need for receiving grades on assignments. There is no limit on the number of classes one may audit. Auditors complete a simple application process and pay tuition on a per-credit basis at half the normal rate. There are no scholarships available for auditors.
