As a well-developed nation with a strong economy and solid infrastructure, Japan is easily overlooked as a
place of significant gospel need. In reality, evangelical Christians comprise only 0.22% of the population,
making Japan the second largest unreached people group in the world.
Although the church has been present in Japan for centuries, a deep-rooted gospel movement has yet to
spread throughout this great land.
We believe that the most effective way to catalyze such a movement is by providing grace-centered and
biblically-sound training and resources that will equip Christians in Japan for the work of gospel ministry.
